Sketches

Some recent rough work for a personal piece I am planning for the spring. I'm still figuring out how it's all going to fit together. I know that I want to have the girl posed in front of the tree but I need to have something in the background that will help tell a story. Is she hiding ? Is she waiting ?
I need to have something back there. At first I was considering a dragon but I think that might be too much. I don't think this is going to be that kind of picture. I want this one to be more about the environment she's in. Maybe a flock of crows. Something has startled them - maybe - don't know yet - still thinking. More drawing required.

Your figure sketches are so beautiful I'm worried these characters will start showing up in my work...

As always I love your work, she maybe hiding from your Spider witches. They could be your background, ie: the picture called November from your other site. And she has stumbled across them on her walk. she hides behind the tree, because her Kind taste very nice to the witches. She could have a branch of the tree wrapped round her, because one of her talents is, that she is able to become one with the forest.

Well that was my little dream. I am grateful that you share your work with us. I makes my mind do overtime. Heheheh!

I am sure you will come up with something outstanding. xxx

Ruthie - After this mornings doodling I think this picture may have already morphed into something else. It looks like there may be more figures :)
Thanks for stopping by.

Tiny Pearl - I love where you went with that. If you're not already a writer you sure could be. I may have to rethink what I was going to do with this one.
Thanks so much for participating :)
