Recent Sketchbook - Pencil and Watercolour
This is a bit of the doodling and designing I have been doing lately. Netsuke Nymphs, Fauns, Pixies and Sprites. I use the word Netsuke because it refers to miniature Japanese sculptures and that is essentially what I have in mind when I'm doodling out these little characters. The next step of course is to get some modeling clay and sculpt one.

Your gamboling arcanae make me long for spring (which may be officially here, but tell that to all the snow still piled everywhere!) I especially like the lady riding the bee(?).
Thanks WOL. Yes, there is a very conspicuous lack of evidence for spring around here also. The snow is slowly disappearing but today it is cold again and all the bee riders are remaining cloistered away deep and warm. Thanks again for your support. ;)
