For a nymph she seems rather martial. She's wielding that flower like a sword or quarter staff, which provokes a rather comic scene in my mind's video screen of two flower nymphs who start out screaming angry at each other and who whack away at each other with flowers as weapons until the absurdity of battling with flowers cracks them up and they forget why they were mad at each other and collapse with laughter into a disheveled, pollen splattered heap. Oh, dear. I don't seem to be helping you transition from animation back into painting . . .
Thanks WOL. I always enjoy your input, be it silly, insightful or inspiring. I was sort of thinking of her as doing a yoga or Tai Chi kind of thing with the flower, but really, I just wanted to draw a nymph.
