What a great core for a band of merry men. It would be great fun to be chums with these blokes. They look like they would always be there for you, in thick 'n' thin.
Hey Sam - in reality I would imagine these guys would essentially be like homeless bikers. However, I can't resist endowing them with a little charm and humour - it's traditional :)
Great fun ! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Mimi. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Thomas. They're a good bunch but you should know that they aren't punctual and have been known to have an ale or two.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great Little John.
ReplyDeleteYes, Little John is great !! And I like to see a different Robin (with little wrinkles around the eyes and all :D)
ReplyDeleteThanks Justin.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that Sabine - they have been living in the woods after all. :)
ReplyDeleteI find these designs pleasingly scruffy. I always wonder at Merry Men who are well washed and shaved while living in the woods as fugitives.

ReplyDeleteThese are great, quite hilarious.....It is fun to see more playful images of these characters......
ReplyDeleteThanks RTGG - there are a few more coming - apologies in advance :)
ReplyDeleteI really love your take on these characters, especially Little John!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim - he seems to be the favourite at the moment. :)
